Install guide
Up and running in minutes.
Once your filter is set up, you’ll get a personal install link. Open it on the device you want to protect and follow the steps below.
On iPhone & iPad
- 1. Open your link — tap your personal filttr link, or scan its QR code, in Safari.
- 2. Tap Install — tap the big Install button, then tap Allow when iPhone asks to download the profile.
- 3. Open Settings — near the top you’ll see Profile Downloaded. Tap it.
- 4. Confirm — tap Install (top right) and enter your passcode. That’s it — you’re protected.
Already installed before? Just tap your link again — it updates to the newest version automatically.
On Mac
- Open your link, then download the profile.
- Go to System Settings → General → Device Management (or Profiles).
- Open the filttr profile and click Install.
On Android
Android is managed with MDM enrollment — we send an enrollment link, and once it’s set the approved-app filtering and encrypted DNS are locked on so they can’t be removed. We’ll walk you through enrollment.
On Windows
Windows gets system-level filtering: encrypted DNS, forced SafeSearch and category blocking across every browser, with the settings locked. We’ll set it up with you remotely.
