filttr exists for one reason: to make real shmiras einayim simple enough that a regular family will actually keep it on.
Most filters fall into one of two traps. Either they’re so heavy-handed that everyday things — email, banking, work tools, weather — stop working, and people switch them off. Or they’re so loose that they don’t really protect anyone.
